Dr. Nisha R S is a distinguished academician and leader in the field of medical education, bringing over three decades of experience to her role as Principal at Government Medical College Konni. With a solid foundation established since joining the Medical Education Department in July 1992, Dr. Nisha R S has continuously demonstrated her commitment to excellence and innovation in medical education.
Elevated to the position of Professor in January 2017, Dr. Nisha R S has held significant leadership positions, including Professor and Head of the Department of Community Medicine at Government Medical College Idukki and Government T D Medical College Alappuzha. Her tenure as Vice Principal at Government Medical College Idukki and Government T D Medical College Alappuzha further enriched her administrative skills and strategic vision. Dr. Nisha R S is also a prolific researcher, with numerous National and International publications to her credit. Her contributions to medical literature reflect her deep commitment to advancing medical knowledge and improving healthcare outcomes.
Assuming the role of Principal at Government Medical College Konni in June 2023, Dr. Nisha R S brings a wealth of experience and a steadfast dedication to advancing medical education and research. Faculty Improvement Program - GEN TECHNIKA
Department of biochemistry conducted Faculty Improvement Program - GEN TECHNIKA A workshop on PCR at biochemistry demo hall academic block on 20/02/2024. 43 participants from various departments attended the workshop. Scientific session with lecture on PCR was handled by Dr. Eldho Kuriakose, assistant professor, department of biochemistry and our guest speaker Dr. Lokeshwaran K, product specialist Himedia laboratories. This was followed by the demonstration of PCR by Dr. Lokeshwaran. The program came to an end by 3 pm.
